What are mobile saunas made of?
The structure, i.e. the sauna itself, is made of spruce wood with a maximum moisture content of 10%. The technical drying of the spruce up to 8-10% ensures that the wood is resistant to external influences and significantly reduces the possibility of cracking during temperature changes.
These elements are made of hardwood. Alder, aspen or linden wood. Hardwood has a low thermal conductivity and maintains a reasonable temperature even at the highest sauna temperatures. All the elements in contact with the body are carefully polished, which makes the wood of the elements smooth, safe and pleasant to touch.
WHAT DOES THE PRICE OF A MOBILE SAUNA DEPEND ON?
Wood is one of the main components of a mobile sauna. It makes up a large part of the total cost of the sauna. Wood is divided into grades and categories according to its quality, so it is natural that a lower grade, say alder, will be cheaper than A-grade linden. You should consult your sauna manufacturer on these issues.
The size of a mobile sauna can also have a strong influence on the price. The larger the sauna is, the more expensive it will cost, as more materials will be used.
